Managed Property Additional Conditions to Contract

  1. To agree that should there be a disagreement and or mediation required for repairs/damage/maintenance to the landlords property, the landlord agrees to be liable to pay for and put right  any said items, ready for the new incoming tenant, until agreement can be reached and or funds recovered where possible from the previous tenant.  This may take the form of mitigation with or through the DPS or any other depositing holding authority and should that be the case also agree to pay the  fees for Homematch handling this on their behalf
  2. To agree that if a tenant pays more than two months advance rent, for a managed tenancy property, Homematch reserve the right to hold 10%, in a client account, of the balance in lieu of possible maintenance required during the remainder of the paid term, the advance term being as stated in the AST, to be refunded at the end of the said term if not required less any outstanding costs at that time.
  3. Receipt of rent by the landlord.  The landlord agrees to accept that payment of rent received will be paid over to the landlord within 7-14 working days.  We will always strive to transfer funds as soon as possible. (Payments from tenants can be late due to bank holidays, weekends or general bank processing.)
